This bathroom was outdated and very cramped. I wanted a big open shower and a double basin.
I chose a bold mosaic tile for the open shower (it is quite masculine) to complement the upcycled industrial window frame for the shower curtain.

I built the concrete double basin myself; I cast it in a mould I made with masonite. I will admit that I needed quite a bit of help carrying it into the bathroom from the garage where I built it (ha, ha!).

I then also built small wooden fittings on the walls, the shower duckboard and wooden mats under the basin from pallet wood.
The toilet roll holder and towel hooks were made from galvanized water pipes.

Lastly, I installed more modern lights above the basin.
